Kurt Baker was born in Santa Monica, California and lived in Malibu from age six, began piano lessons, and then soon picked up the ukulele and guitar. He attained a global musical influence through a year and a half spent on an around-the-world trip with his family as a teenager. A southern California surfer and musician, he has been performing in musical groups all his life and made his first record at age fifteen. A later album, " Relatively Clean Rivers," has become a collector's item in Europe. Kurt's distinctive style of guitar and piano compliments the overall sound of Gratitude
