Roby
LaPorte was raised on the beaches of Southern California and was destined from his earliest years when he
purchased his first guitar at the age of 8. Roby continues to play his own style
of music and began performing before his junior year of High School.
He was founding member and driving force of the popular So. Cal.
Rock N’ Roll band ‘J. Thaddeus Toad’. Roby has
been writing and recording music in his studio, Toad Hall Records,
for many internet and movie productions in the last decade and his
scores have graced many commercials. He spent most of the 1990's
as 'Front of House' Sound Engineer at the popular concert hall,
The Coach House, in San Juan Capistrano, CA and worked and played
with many huge stars. Songwriter, Producer, Recording Engineer,
Live Sound Engineer and Session Player are the basic elements that
